A Quake II Level (registered versions only)
====================================================
Title : The Relay Station v1.1
Filename : trs.bsp
Author : Rick Troppman
Email Address : troppman@accessone.com
Release Date : 11-29-98
New release info : Did a lot of work optimizing
everything as well as I could.
In alot of areas, improvements
are huge. In the transmitter
room, improvements are noticed
to be better than 50%. Hopefully
this will make it more enjoyable
for those with more modest
systems to play. The object is
fun, right?
Also I repaired alot of details
Brought to my attn by Igor of
QM Hotel and others.

* Mission Brief *
=====================================================
The relay station is located on an old planet named
Cernaan, which the Strogg Army took over millennia
ago. Cernaan's position in the universe, is near the
star system known to us as NGC 3209. This is roughly
half way between Stroggos and another of the many
planets currently under siege by Strogg, known as
Morgulon. Located in an old chasm, a result of the
ancient war, is the Relay Station. It's soul purpose
is to relay DES communications to and from the many
Stroggos outposts back to Strogg's mother planet and
to provide a temporary storage facility. Without the
Relay Station, the Strogg forces would be in a hell
of a bind.
=====================================================
* Your mission (should you choose to accept it) *
=====================================================
Find a way to permanently Disable Strogg's 20 gigawatt
Ku relay transmitter. Disrupt all comm links between
Planet Morgulon and the Stroggos mother planet Comm
Center.The 20 gigawatt transmitter relies completely
on a single cooling system to keep the transmitter finals
from achieving thermal runaway. Shutting down the
cooling system during peak power operating conditions
will result in catastrophic failure to the 20 Gig
Ku transmitter finals, permanently disabling the
relay station and cutting all communications to the planet
Stroggos and (hopefully), crippling the Stroggos
war effort.
Good luck soldier
